"I saw a doctor - he gave me pills, told me, 'This is
what you take to get off it,'" Wayne said. "I never
tried them. If them b***hes work, then I probably gotta
start. Other than that, it's gonna be hard. What a n*gga
told me to do is start lessening my amount. So what I
do, I tell motherf*ckers as to pour it for me instead of
me pouring it...I be patient.'"
"Don't judge me until you meet me," he said. "And you
know when you gonna meet me? Never. So don't judge me.
Don't worry about my health because what you doing? And
when you tell me what you doing, I bet it ain't half as
great as what I'm doing. I smoke, drink, and do what,
who, and how I want and I'm going to keep doing. And
I'ma die the way I want. And that's that."
Take that haters! If Weezy F Baby wants to kiss Baby and
go to "fruit fight" parties with Diddy and Fat Joe he
can do as he pleases because your life ain't as great as
his-suckers!
"I still feel like I'm not being respected," Weezy told
Vibe. "I still feel like I don't have the crown. I still
feel like there's something I have to do that hasn't
been done."
Hmmm. Let me think. Maybe you need to drop The Carter
III already. And stop making ridiculous videos like
this. [Watch here]

It was a necessary move for a town that's been severely
snakebit in the past by big-name hip-hop artists who
either no show or cancel at the last minute.
So even after the reassurance -- to say nothing of the
no-show by MC Breed, who was jailed hours before the
show -- there was a note of uncertainty when the
audience began chanting for "Weezy!", Lil Wayne's
secondary moniker, around 9:30 p.m.
All that tension made for an explosive reception when
the dreadlocked and heavily tattooed rapper bounded on
stage just after 10 p.m.
From the beginning Weezy and his full stage entourage
tore right into the bass-heavy raps of hits like "Get
That Money" and "Duffle Bag Boy" that gave fans lots of
chances to chant along and even rap entire bars of
lyrics when the DJ cut the music out.
Seeing Wayne live gave an interesting view into what's
made him one of the most popular rappers of the last
decade, beginning as a member of Hot Boys and the Cash
Money Records cadre.

New News Lil Wayne Drug and Gun Charges.
Updated 15th February 2008
A jury indicted Lil Wayne on drug and weapons charges stemming from his Jan. 23 bust near Yuma,
Waynes bus was searched at a United states Border Patrol checkpoint and federal agents allegedly turned up a wide variety of banned items on the bus.
Lil wayne aka Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., is now facing one count each of possession of a narcotic drug for selling, possession of dangerous drugs, misconduct involving weapons and more charges.
Weezy pleaded not guilty during a court hearing.
Lil wayne and the cash money entourage were pulled over at around 11 p.m. on Jan. 22 in Date land.
Lil Wayne has been free on $10k bail and his attorney, MR Tilson, said Tuethat this lil' hitch in the hip hop, won't affect his appearance schedule.
MR Tilson stated "He is currently on tour as we speak,
LIL Wayne says his legal troubles won't affect the release of his already much delayed solo album Tha Carter 3
December 14th 2007 - New lil wayne and baby articles
Baby discussed in a move
that's rare in the unabashedly arrogant culture of
hip-hop, admits he was aware of his flaws.
"I felt like I couldn't rap, and I was around these li'l
niggas and I felt like they could bag me up with rappin',"
he says. "The only thing to do was for me to shine. I
felt like I needed to be a jewelry nigga, a car nigga,
to stand out from everybody." He and Fresh flaunted
mega-mansions and fleets of cars on MTV's celebrity
pissing contest, Cribs, but when Fresh departed in 2005,
claiming still-unsubstantiated monetary misconduct, once
again Birdman was left holding the bag. But to a guy who
has consistently proven his skill of making cake out of
shit, change is always good.
In 1999, when Wayne went on record and told grown men to
"separate me from the fake" and that they "better vacate
the premises," it seemed he was issuing a call to foes
in the street. But looking back, it was clear that
Wayne's statement was prophetic and that he was talking
to cats in the game right now. Currently his career is
unparalleled. Now 13 years in the business without
having fizzled out, he boasts a voice that is flooding
Top 40 radio stations as well as tracks featuring him
alongside Beyoncé and Britney. And he still maintains
the underground cred that made him famous.
With the release of his latest album, 5 Star, slated for
release December 18, and his contract with Universal up
at the end of the year, more changes are undoubtedly on
the horizon. But one thing he promises won't change is
his presence in the industry. "This is our way of life,
so this shit ain't goin' nowhere. We want it so bad, so
we gonna go real hard regardless."
LIL WAYNE LIKENS HIMSELF TO LUTHER KING JR
Rap superstar LIL WAYNE stunned a journalist when he
demanded the writer treat him on a par with late civil
rights campaigner MARTIN LUTHER KING JR, quite a ask
from the star.
The star - real name Dwayne Michael Carter Junior. - surprised an interviewer for X.X.L magazine when he likened himself to African American icons Martin Luther King Jnr. and Malcolm X.
"You are not going to ask
him about what he thinks about what somebody said about
him. You ask him about his greatness, and his greatness
only."
Lil Wayne To Star in 'The
Boondocks' Series share
Lil Wayne will make his animated debut as 'Nique'
on the urban series 'The Boondocks'. Tsunami Group Inc
worked closely with Sony Pictures to secure the role for
Wayne. "We have been working with Wayne since the first
Carter album was released and bring him select
opportunities we feel are right for him. Having Wayne
being able to star in this classic animated series is a
milestone in his career and we were elated that our
efforts created this opportunity," says Tsunami Group
President CJ Robinson. "Wayne is very excited about his
role and really embraced his character for the series."
Wayne's character called 'Nique' will be mentored by his cousin
played by comedian Cedric the Entertainer. The episode
No 212 is entitled, 'Invasion of the Katrina's,' and is
set to air December 10th, 2007.
Rumour has it that this will be the last season of the
Sony Animated Series.
Jay-Z Makes Up with Lil Wayne - latest news from November 2007 -
Lil Wayne wanted to clear something up. "Best rapper
alive,", pointing at Jay Z. Then, pointing at himself:
"Next rapper alive." So maybe that's a direct
contradiction of everything Wayne's said on the billions
of mix tapes he's released in the last couple of years.
The diss track from Lil Wayne new news 17th august 2007 -
The diss track from Lil Wayne aimed at 50 is called
"Gossip" and will be released in the next couple of
weeks and it will be the first joint off his Carter III
album. Now Wayne doesn't actually say Curtis' name in
the joint, but when you hear it you will know it is
aimed right at Mr. Jackson...
Birdman Addresses Lil Wayne Broken Jaw
Rumours
With a rumour spreading around the ‘internet’ like
wildfire concerning the possibility of Lil Wayne getting
beat up by a member of Gilles Da Kid’s entourage, we
decided to try and get to the bottom of this Cash Money
Mystery. Since it was Gallie's camp that leaked this
latest bone-breaking gossip, we wanted to give Cash
Money a chance to respond, and that they did with none
other than Baby himself phoning in to Complex HQ and
setting the record straight.
To quickly get you up to speed on this latest Hip Hop
hullabaloo, Mary Bowling of J&M Entertainment and
publicist for Gilles Da Kid, put out a press release
stating that Lil Wayne’s jaw was broken by one of
Gilles's boys at a tour stop a couple weeks ago, a claim
The Birdman vehemently denies, “That’s false, I don’t
see the nigga, and if you don’t get money I don’t see
you. Niggas be trying to do sh*t to get their name out.
No truth to no sh*t like that.” He confidently scoffed
at Bowline's claim saying that Gille or his people posed
no threat to any of the Cash Money Millionaires
whatsoever. “A man is a man. He’s a bi*ch nigga. His
mouth is like an ass, anything will come out of it.”
Baby goes on to explain that Gille is just popping sh*t
off for attention when we asked why he’d bother even
circulating a rumor like that, “Nigga be trying to do sh*t
to get their name out. He did it for notoriety, it’s
been like that since he picked up a microphone. If you
don’t know how to get money, you’re going to be a nigga
like him, these niggas don’t want this, they don’t want
no blood!”
We then asked the Birdman about Gille’s claim of
ghostwriting Wayne’s lyrics for the “Carter 1,” a rumor
which he also quickly dispelled: “None of that is true
homie. Real men do real things. Know what I’m saying?
Those niggas can’t write that.”
Gille wasn’t the only artist to feel the wrath of Cash
Money. Referring to the backlash from the comments Weezy
made in our Dec/Jan issue about Jay-Z, Pharrell, and The
Clipse that created a firestorm still burning across
various media landscapes to this day, Baby stood his
ground and backed up his potna, “If a nigga feels a
certain way, fu*k ‘em. Where we come from living is like
a threat. We’re not tripping on anything. I come from
controversy that’s been our whole life. We ain’t
tripping on petty sh*t.”
Amidst the tough-talk, Baby made it clear to us that his
main focus for Cash-Money is stacking paper and doing it
for the fans, “My little homie is the hottest in the
game, we’re celebrating our 10th year anniversary,
trying to break new artists, we chase money, we just do
entertainment.” He adds, “We’re just trying to give the
world good music.”
Juelz Santana and Lil Wayne
Cant Feel Their Face
Juelz Santana and Cash Money recording artist Lil’ Wayne
aka Lil Weezy, aka Weezy F. Baby, aka Birdman Jr., aka
Birdman J.R., aka “the best rapper alive” are set to
release their new collaboration album entitled I Can’t
Feel My Face. The north and south duo finished recording
about 40 tracks and are now in the process of selecting
the best ones to put on the album. One of the newly
leaked joints is a fresh take on the Nas and Jay-Z
collabo Black Republicans. On it, Juelz spits:
I’m feelin like a black republican/ naw I can’t call it/
more like a black democrat/ runnin’ em out of office/
young Barack Obama/ I’m all for it
It looks like these guys are serious. But any new joints
on the street are always welcome. Yezzir!
Lil Wayne Released On Bond
“Lil Wayne was arraigned late Monday on a felony charge
of gun-possession in connection with his arrest Sunday
night following his first headlining New York show.
According to attorney Stacey Richman, Wayne (born Dwayne
Carter Jr.) was released Monday evening on $70,000 bond
and will appear in court again in November on the
charge, which carries a minimum prison sentence of three
and a half years (see “Lil Wayne Arrested On
Gun-Possession Charge In New York”). Richman said the
arrest — and another one just hours before of Ja Rule on
similar gun-possession charges (see “Ja Rule Arrested,
Charged With Weapons Possession”) — was puzzling to her.
“He [Wayne] was in the bus in his boxer shorts with a
number of other people,” Richman told MTV News. “Unless
his boxer shorts had a pocket for this gun, I don’t
understand how he had it on him.”
Though some reports have quoted prosecutors describing a
scenario in which Wayne tossed a bag containing the
.40-caliber pistol as police entered the bus, Richman
said her numerous witness interviews have not confirmed
that version of events.
Several hip-hop artists who joined Lil Wayne onstage
Sunday night had run-ins with the police and Beacon
Theatre security outside the venue prior to the show
(see “Kanye West, Ja Rule, Juelz Santana Jump Onstage
For Lil Wayne’s First-Ever NYC Solo Show”).
Richman’s father and legal partner, famed hip-hop
attorney Murray Richman, claimed the arrest was a result
of an action by New York’s police-detective “hip-hop
squad,” which “staked out the [tour] bus.” Murray
Richman added that the .40-caliber gun police found in
the bus was in the same area in which Wayne was changing
clothes and was a legally registered handgun, but did
not belong to the rapper. More puzzling to the attorneys
is why the other 12 to 20 people on the bus were not
arrested along with Wayne, given New York laws that
require that everyone in a vehicle with an unclaimed gun
be charged if that vehicle is searched by police.
The other person arrested in the incident along with
Wayne was charged with misdemeanour marijuana possession,
given a desk-appearance ticket and released. Prosecutors
claim that as police closed in on the bus — which they
said they approached after smelling marijuana — the man
charged with marijuana possession allegedly flushed 7
ounces of the substance down the bus’ toilet, according
to Jennifer Kushner, a spokesperson for the Manhattan
District Attorney’s office. The marijuana was retrieved
and introduced into evidence.
A New York Police Department spokesperson would not
comment on the Richmond’ assertions, citing the ongoing
investigation. The prosecutor’s office would also not
comment further on the Richmond’ allegations that the
incident was selective policing by the “hip-hop squad”
of the NYPD or explain why the other people on the bus
were not brought in on the same gun charge as Wayne.”
